TATTOO REMOVAL

Tattoos have become an extremely popular way of permanently modifying our appearance. However, as time passes, we can come to regret the decision we made years ago.

What seemed like a good idea at the time can cause problems in later life.

TATTOO REMOVAL

Tattoos have become an extremely popular way of permanently modifying our appearance. However, as time passes, we can come to regret the decision we made years ago.

What seemed like a good idea at the time can cause problems in later life.

How does the tattoo removal process work?

During a tattoo removal procedure, laser light is applied to the tattooed area of the skin. The light is selectively absorbed by the tattoo ink particles, leaving the surrounding skin tissue unharmed.

The tattoo ink particles absorb the laser energy, heats up, and shatters into smaller ink particles.

In the weeks following a laser treatment, the body’s immune system flushes away the shattered ink particles, causing the tattoo to fade. Over a series of treatments, more and more of the ink shatters, leaving the skin ink free.

Tattoo removal can also be used to remove permanent makeup like micro-blading.

The downtime depends on how quickly your skin heals and the treatment duration time can take up to 40 minutes. (Depending on the size of the tattoo)

Note: Anaesthesia cream will be applied 30 minutes before treatment. (Please be sure to arrive at least 35 minutes before your appointment in order to give the anesthesia cream time to fully numb the area)
